(B4)Programme is a comprehensive method of dealing with back pain,
postural problems, stiffness and muscle spasm. It is based
on the philosophy of learning how to use the body correctly
in all situations. Daily activities have an enormous impact on the health of our backsand bodies.
Back pain is commonly as a result of repetitively doing things incorrectly and without eliminating these contributing factors there is very little chance of controlling back pain long term. What makes The B4 Programme unique is the way it enables you to take control
of your back problem yourself without having to constantly
rely on treatments or medication. 'Helping You
to Help yourself' The B4 Programme teaches the individual to examine the day-to-day situations which may specifically aggravate their own problems, taking the appropriate precautions and actions enabling the individual to take
primary responsibility for their own problems.
By providing the tools and knowledge to understand how to deal with back & neck pain, the
individual is able to manage and control their
situation, learning to understand how to reduce and alleviate pain, reduce the frequency and length
of incidents of acute
pain, reduce the fear of pain and in many cases, prevent further
occurrences of back problems altogether. The B4 Programme further teaches a series of holistic exercises combiningcore stability, general joint mobility, relaxation and strength.
Comfort and pain levels are considered and monitored throughout
the programme, with each person working within their own capabilities and exercises being adjusted according to individual needs.
