In the course of our daily lives we repetitively stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, sit, slouch and sleep in positions that can have a detrimental effect on our bodies. We spend hours sitting at our desks, in cars or watching TV while not using our muscles correctly which does nothing to improve posture. This overworks and strains some muscles whilst others get weaker.
