BUILDING BETTER
BACKS & BODIES

ABOUT US

spineThe BUILDING BETTER BACKS & BODIES (B4) Programme is a comprehensive holistic programme designed predominantly for back & neck pain sufferers and has been successfully helping people since 1997.
Devised by Adrienne Golembo a Remedial Masseuse & Movement Therapist, who suffered with back problems for over 20 years, she originally developed it to help reduce her own pain. Adrienne recalls:

As a chronic back pain sufferer I found myself on a roller coaster of therapies ranging from physiotherapy, surgery, osteopathy, chiropractics, acupuncture, and many other alternative therapies. I was also living on a cocktail of various different medications. I eventually got fed up with this lifestyle and gradually started to work out a regime which completely changed my life. Thus the Building Better Backs & Bodies Programme was born.”

The B4 Programme was monitored, edited and endorsed by Chartered Physiotherapist Hilda Walsh as Lead Physiotherapist and Back Pain Specialist with the City and Hackney Back Pain programme in London UK. Anne-Marie Hesselkamp, Superintendent Physiotherapist at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore UK also approved the B4 Programme for teaching at ASPIRE (Association for Spinal Injury Rehabilitation).

Adrienne Golembo also works as part of the multidisciplinary team headed by Dr Geoffrey Leader MB ChB FRCA based at the London Pain Relief and Nutritional Support Clinic based at Highgate Hospital in London, specialising in the general management of the functional health of Parkinson’s disease patients. Her methods have been published in the acclaimed book
Parkinson’s Disease - The Way Forward”. The B4 Programme is also suitable for people suffering from MS, obesity, coronary disease and as a method of preventing back pain occuring
